Musings of a non-partisan Canuk
I woke up this morning to news about the Mexico murders of two Canadians. Poor buggers. It certainly gives the word "holiday" a whole new meaning doesn't it. (Rhetorical question).
Two other Canadians are the now focus of an investigation by the corrupt Mexican police. I'm not holding my breath for them to find the real murderers.
Reports of the bird flu jumping over to we humans is all over the news. The bug hasn't arrived here yet and it's times like this that I really am thankful for being a Canadian.
...two more cups of coffee in me now and I can't believe I just wrote that... back to business...
I'm glad to see that New Orleans residents have traded in their swim suits for the gaudy Mardi Gras costumes. How many days is it before hurricane season? Ok, enough with the cynicism.
So what's up with that Harper dude today? I need someone to pick on. I'll get to him later.
I just received an email welcoming me to the Blogging Alliance of Non-Partisan Canadians. "Welcome aboard" it says, which only proves that misery really does love company, and I'm no exception. It's nice to know that I'm not a lone voice talking to myself in the wilderness.
Kidding aside, thank you and I look forward to interacting with everyone. I think I need another coffee now.
